Stardew Valley Guitar Tab

Here, I wrote some tabs for the Stardew Valley theme.

A New Nazi Dogwhistle

It's come to my attention that white supremacists are now referring to themselves as "Groypers." Its a reference to a pepe knock off after the creator of Pepe started suing to keep nazis from using it as a fascist racist symbol.
Just be on the lookout, if you see someone referring to themselves as a "Groyper," they're a nazi. Also be on the lookout for:

"28": Means Blood and Honor, an international racist skinhead group.
"38": A symbol for the Hammerskins, another racist skinhead group.
"88": Means "Heil Hitler."
"14": The white supremacist slogan known as the "14 Words": "We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children."
Red shoelaces on steel-toed work boots: a symbol that someone has shed blood for the skinhead movement.
"Anti-Racist is a Code Word for Anti-White": a slogan popular among white supremacists
Three Ellipses ((( ))): used around somebodies name to insinuate that they are jewish

Trump Impeached

Trump was recently impeached for obstruction of justice and abuse of power. The senate voted for impeachment.
He will now go on trial for his crimes, which may last into the end of the term. He will probably finish his full term before he sees any consequences of his actions.
He is the third president in the history of the United States who has ever been impeached.

An Update

Hello! Sorry I haven't updated recently, I've actually been quite busy.
I had some issues with dental health first of all, but I think I have that mostly handled at this point.
My teeth were eroding quite badly, probably from a combination of coffee and lack of nutrition. But I'm on a special type of toothpaste trying to repair some of the enamel.
A lot of the damage is irreversible, but they are already looking much better.
ThEN what happened, was that we found a stray kitten outside and ended up taking him in. I've been busy babysitting him. He's a little black kitten with a white chest and belly, and we've named him Skunk.
He's very obnoxious and a handful.

Secondly, I've also been playing a lot of games lately, and ended up creating another Dat site tailored for game reviews.
You can find it at this link:
Pixel Review

And third, I got my first mailbox, EVER! We don't really have a lot of people living around here, and there weren't enough people to actually have a mail route.
At least until this year, that is. So we're finally getting ours set up, and I can mail from home without having to walk all the way into town to mail a letter!

I'm very excited to start mailing my friend again.
And last, I am going to a christmas party at my grandparents tomorrow. It's actually past midnight now, so I ought to get some sleep.
See you.

Hibiscus Tea

It's after christmas, now. I finally got a PS4 controller, which I've been trying to get for a couple years now in order to smoothly play my playstation again.
I also got some dungeons and dragons tiles in order to play with generative tiles with my friends; They're a dry erase seamless Atlas tile kit produced by the Master's Atlas.
Plus, my friend sent me some hibiscus buds in the mail to try hibiscus tea. I was pleasantly surprised by the bitter taste, it reminds me of cranberries, and the red color practically dyed my cup read.
It's somewhat reminiscent of blood.

This christmas season has brought me a lot of pain, to be honest. The noise and light triggering migraines, along with an apparent stye infection I've got in my left eye, making me sick.
I think I will take some time to myself to sleep this off. I also need to sort and clean my recycling and find some time to drop it off.

Trump Starts a War

The other night, Trump ordered an assassination attack against Qassem Soleimani, the second most powerful man in the world, and an Iranian military commander.
He did this without congress approval.
Soleimani was quickly replaced, because he doesn't act alone, and on top of that, his death has plunged us into war with Iran.
Iraque is also reconsidering its relationship with us, because Trump ordered the attack on Iraque soil, with complete disregard that this was a hostile attack on their soil.
Already Impeached, Trump spends his remaining term plunging our country into war and sending thousands of troops to a foreign country.
I have friends that are enlisted who had to do so to be able to afford to go to college.
I damn near did the same.
Trump proves that he believes people are only to be used as pawns in his idiocy. If he had consulted congress, they would have made it apparent that this assassination would have been useless and only started a war,
but he acted without congress approval.
He is a warmongerer and a criminal.
Nobody is denying that Soleimani was dangerous, but why do you think nobody had assassinated him yet?
Because he doesn't work alone. He would have been abruptly replaced by somebody else.
Also, theres the fact that assassinating a world leader starts a fucking war.
There are thousands of innocents in Iran that will get caught in the crossfire of this.
And thousands of poor people forced to fight in the military just to get government aid.
The United States is a despicable country. We are expected to give our lives for the actions of one man who goes against the wishes of our own people?

The Gun Cucks Anti-Military Circle-Jerk Fantasy

Found out one of my friends was those fucking tools against gun control for military weapons because he thinks they can be used to combat the entire fucking US military at the expense of military-grade weapons falling into the hands of criminals and mass shooters.
Civil War is your freakish fucking fantasy, protests are real, and mass shootings are real. Fucking gun cucks.
Our country has the most funded military in the world to the point of people dying of no healthcare because they choose weapons over being alive, and you think your dumb ass illegally assembled gun can be used for anything other than civilians?
Don't make me laugh.
You're just a danger against everyone else trying to prevent a fucking civil war. Do us a favor and fucking die.

An Update 2

Coronavirus has been confirmed to have spread to my state. I know it's not that big of a deal, but as someone who's prone to lung infections and already has breathing problems,
I really don't want to catch it.
I had pneumonia a couple years ago and almost ended up in the hospital. Lung infections are an extremely painful thing to have, and I don't want to go through that again.
My heart goes out to everyone who is currently goin through this viral infection.
Also, I currently have a cold again. Seems I'm sick quite a lot. I accidentally spread it to my dad, too.
Also I lost my friend. More like got rid of.
She hardly ever even talked to me anymore anyway, and she didn't really care to even hang out with me. She'd make false promises to hang out then never show up,
so i'd just waste my entire day sitting and waiting for her like a fucking dog. I'd rather have no friends at all than have one that doesn't even give a shit about me.

On another note, the last business in my town is closing down for good. We're losing our local bank. My town is turning into a complete ghost town and we can't afford to leave.
Who knows, maybe when the value of everything drops because nobody wants to live here anymore, I can get some land to grow on.
Whatever...This towns just really going to shit.
We were shot at last year and the sheriffs did nothing. We had a home intruder last night too. People are dying off faster than people are moving in, and then theres the fact
that the town muncipiality keeps adding random ass rules to make life harder for the people living in poverty as an excuse to seize their property and kick them out too.

We live in a fucking dystopia. All they care about is keeping up appearances.

The Usage of Queer

People keep arguing that LGBT+ people shouldn't be allowed to call themselves Queer, because it's a slur.
Since when have LGBT+ people not been allowed to call themselves Queer?
They've been doing it through activism for decades.
Not to mention, the slurs used throughout are childhoods are VERY specific to region.
Never in my life have I been called Queer by others.
However I've been called "fag," and "faggot."
It makes me cringe a little just typing it out, because of the memories attached to them from school. So I get why people don't like the word Queer, if it's the equivalent for
their childhood that the word "fag" was for mine.
However the word Queer doesn't harness that weight for me, because I don't share that experience.
And a lot of others don't either.
Some people just simply had the word "gay" thrown at them with hate their entire lives. Some it was "faggot." For women, "dyke" or even just "lesbian."
Our experiences are all similar but not universal.
Queer has been used as an identifier by LGBT+ people long before most of you were even born. This argument is a completely new thing, and I don't know where it came from.
Just a couple years ago, since 2016, it was completely acceptible to self-identify as Queer.
It's fine if it makes you uncomfortable, but you can't take the word away from others. It's ours.

I've Been Sick

Sorry for the absence, random visitor. I've been really sick with a respiratory cold. I don't know if it was COVID-19 hahaha, I wasn't tested.
I'm still sick, but not as sick as I was before.
I supposed while i happen to be here, I should talk about something productive. just give me a moment to figure out what!
Also, by the way, I've started dumping older entries from elsewhere on the clearnet on here to archive. You might see older posts suddenly show up here,
that you haven't seen before!

Hylics

Okay...so! I had a couple bucks the other day, and decided to explore itch.io for a good game to pass the time while i was miserable being sick.
I did get a couple of good ones, but out of all of them, i stumbled upon a hidden gem.
I got a game called Hylics. It's really a marvel, packed with confusion and abstract imagery.
I'm pretty sure most of the NPC dialogue is randomly generated, because it's entirely nonsensical.
The game stars a character named Wayne, with a yellow head shaped like an upturned crescent moon, and his friends. My favorite so far is Dedusmuln,
his head looking like ap air of twisted horns, somewhat. A real fan favorite seems to be Somsnosa, but I don't know her too well yet. We will see!
It's a really fun game worth playing, you should try it.

COVID-19

3/10/20

COVID-19 has been in the general population in my state for a while now.
I currently have some form of pneumonia and have been sick with it for the past few weeks now, I think nearing a month, I haven't really been keeping track.
But it's possible that that's what I may have caught.
It doesn't matter either way, pneumonia is pneumonia and I'm sick, and I've been careful to wash my hands and not go out to spread what I have to others.
There's quite the panic going around though, it's like, mass hysteria because of this stupid virus mutation.
I think it's WAY too much hysteria way too late, because it's been in the general population for quite some time.
There's been too little done to prevent it from spreading, and now at this point, if you're going to get it, you're going to get it.
Just make sure to wash your hands and if you have symptoms, wear a face mask to avoid spreading it to others.
However people with NO experience with sickness, and who aren't even susceptible to being harmed by it, have been in hysterics and hoarding food,
stealing supplies from hospitals and people that actually need them. It's awful.
And here I am, actually sick! And I'm being completely calm about it. I mean I'm miserable, but it's not the end of the world. I'm just very sick.
If I can't get over it on my own I'll probably eventually have to go to the doctor, but I don't think theres really a whole lot I can do but wait.
Anyhow, only wear a face mask if you're actually sick! Give them to people who actually need them.
Coughing up infectious particles is the biggest problem, and if you are hoarding masks from people who are actually coughing,
you're making everything even worse!
Wearing a mask does NOTHING for you! You're going around touching things that actually sick people have coughed on, because they don't have a mask available to them.
You're touching your surroundings, your phone, and then when you go home and take off your mask and touch your face, guess what, you're sick now.
Just wash your hands and stop hoarding supplies from people who are actually sick, and hospitals that are trying to HELP you. Jeez.

A New Friend

3/11/20

I made a new friend, I think. Maybe. His name is Monty. I don't know if he likes me too much, and I don't know if I feel safe enough to get close to anyone yet.
I hope I can make a good impression, even if he only knows me briefly. I still don't know how to act around him.
But we're going to play Stardew Valley tonight, I think. He said he cares about me for some reason, and I'm not sure I believe him, because he doesn't really know me that well.
But he seems sincere and nice enough.
I'm scared of making him dislike me. But at the same time, I don't think I can really fix that. Because I am who I am after all. I can't change who I am.

Also...My mom's angry because apparently my sister's...fiances..mom? Is acting like its the end of the world with the COVID-19 nonsense and keeps trying to tell us to "find the lord" and if we don't we're evil, and damned.
Whatever, as far as I'm concerned, I'm already in hell. It can't get much worse than this.
I don't really believe in a god...Because I think, there's not really that much to life.
I think it is what it is, and theres not real deep meaning to it. There's no afterlife, and we're just here.
I don't think it really matters, either way. I just wish crazies like that wouldn't tell me I'm evil because I don't believe in their bullshit.
At the same time though I don't really care, because it's not like their make belief shit really affects me in any way.
I really dig the whole angel aesthetic, though.

People who need the incentive of a hell to be good in life are just people who have had the privilege of never experiencing hell within life.
That's why I don't believe in god...There can be no greater hell than living.

Hell's Ape Farm

3/12/20

We started playing Stardew Valley. I'm still not sure if we're going to be friends. I have fun most of the time hanging out but he's not always nice,
and I'm not sure if he's ridiculing me or not. He also acts like he cares about me and my health but also doesn't understand my living situation,
and it doesn't feel good to be constantly pressed to get care when you know you're helpless to and its almost impossible.
He keeps pressing me to go to the hospital like he doesn't care how the costs will affect me and how my mom treats me.
I wish he'd just leave me alone about it and let me deal with shit on my own. I wish he'd just let it go and just let me complain about being sick without pressing me to do shit.
I am getting sicker though, and can't really navigate around my house anymore without getting winded or wheezing.

But anyways, we did start playing stardew valley and started a farm called "Hell's Ape Farm" based off of a joke that was a typo of "capitalist hellscape" lol.
We started off slow making money (and i kind of wasted some of it because of mistakes even though i tried not to rip) but it's really coming together.
We needed potatoes to complete one of the community center bundles, but pierre moved from behind the counter and I couldn't access the store anymore, so we uh, beat him up.
It was a lot of fun, but I'm not sure if i'm comfortable playing with him again soon because of the other stuff. i don't know, maybe if he wants to.

Also my dad picked up some 4 for a dollar dollar store seeds for the garden to get it started for this year.
We got butternut squash seeds!

Also my brother got stranded because the truck broke down, and we had to go get him.
So the truck needs fixed now, along with the car...oh well.
My brothers also out of school now because our governor forced all of the schools to close for the rest of the year because of COVID-19 being declared a pandemic,
and he doesn't have to make it up. So he's going to be staying at home for a while now.
Anyways...It is what it is.

Jamming On Guitar

3/14/20

hey! had to watch my sister's girls yesterday. well like, from a distance, because i'm sick. but we turned on frozen 2 for them. i think maybe i can trust monty.
i'm still not sure yet but i think we can be friends. found out he plays guitar too, and we were jamming yesterday. i covered part of the backing guitar for king of the clouds.
it was fun.
Also i think i'm starting to get better, i haven't had as much trouble breathing lately. My cough is still on and off, but, you know.
Maybe i'll be fit to be up and running soon. I've also been watching a lot of Markiplier's videos lately, him Bob and Wayde crack me up. My eyes have also been bothering me a lot lately, i've been in a lot of pain. i had to postpone a visit with my eye doctor because of being sick, but maybe i'll be able to reschedule it soon.

Nonbinary

Hi! Today I've decided to talk about Nonbinary Identities.
What is nonbinary exactly?
Well first, you have to look at what we classify binary identities as.
Binary genders are the typical two genders that people generally conform to, Male, and Female.
Nonbinary individuals feel that they don't exactly belong to either of these identities, and feel more comfortable identifying as something else.
It's about feeling comfortable in your body and how you portray yourself as to the world.
Nonbinary identities don't have to just use the pronouns "they/them" either. Being nonbinary does not mean that you don't feel masculine or feminine at all, it just means that you don't conform to what we classify as the gender binary.
Therefore if people feel more comfortable using "he/him" or "she/her" too, they are still nonbinary.
Agender, meaning "not belonging to any gender" also is not the only nonbinary identity, which I've noticed some people can be wrong to assume.
There is a loong list of nonbinary identities that people prefer to identify as, and some, they can even make up themselves.
Because gender is a construct. We made it up! It's not a thing. Sex may be a thing, but gender is just how people portray themselves throughout their lives, and people can be as creative with it as they like.
People may feel like they don't have to abide to adknowledging how others identify themselves, but it doesn't change who nonbinary people are and how they best feel comfortable in their bodies. They will go on with their lives, and people who don't understand can just continue on being a rude and inconsiderate person.
There is also a term called "Gender Non-Conforming," which is also not nonbinary. Nonbinary is regarding how you identify your gender, while being gender non-conforming means you still identify with your gender, you just don't conform to the expectations that come with it.
For example a woman who dresses more masculine and has a more masculine haircut is "gender non-conforming."
Life is an experience, to find who you truly are.
This concludes your lesson on the Nonbinary Identity, thank you.

Food Shortage

3/16/20

Because of COVID-19 concerns, the grocery stores have all closed in my area, and all bars and restaurants are closed for the next 2 weeks.
We have a food shortage now, and I only have food to last the next couple weeks.
We are having food delivered to the town via the fire department starting next week, but I'm not sure how much there is to go around, and the elderly and immunocompromised should be the top priority.
I think I can make shit last until the stores reopen, but I can't believe they're doing this. I'm already sick and this is so much worse! They are taking away our only access to food.
Don't they care??
The state health director estimates with who has been tested so far and the percentage that have tested positive, that at least 60000 other people in the state are probably infected with the virus.
I know COVID-19 can be potentially dangerous to immunocompromised and the elderly, but is it really worth taking away the only access to food for those same people?
How far are we willing to go in a mass panic? Don't they think about the consequences? The governor is hurting the people he is trying to protect.
Anyways...Until next time. Everyone else hang in there.

The Shit Hits the Fan

3/18/20

Hello...some..shit happened.
First of all, blah blah, I ended up not talking to Monty anymore. He seemed cool but he was in general just, really mean to me and I don't think I deserved that.
I don't think he even realized he was doing it, but it doesn't matter, I'm not friends with him anymore.
Second of all...I almost tried to kill myself last night. For like, the second time this year. For multiple reasons..
Third of all, I have reason to believe my hard drive is failing. I did all the troubleshooting that was possible to do. And if you're wondering "did you try ____ though??"
Yes. Yes I did. Whatever it is you are going to say I did it. I spent the entire past two days troubleshooting. I did it.
At first I couldn't even get into my computer at all, but I have it running long enough to manage to use it for the time being,
but I'm not sure how long the hard drive will last out.
I can't test if its just some software hullabaloo going on either, because it seems my restoration image? or whatever that is built into windows 10
is corrupted, so I can't factory reset.
I am very afraid though that it could be the hard drive. I ran a hardware diagnostics test and it said it should be running fine, but I'm not sure how much to trust those.
It almost feel as though someone during a zombie apocalypse is trying to convince you they haven't "really!" been bitten.
But you know, I have no choice but to make do with what I've got for the time being.
I don't have a storage drive large enough to fit a new windows .ISO on to reset the PC, and I need one to even install windows on a replacement hard drive
if I were able to get one regardless, and I don't have enough money to get both of the two, so I'm kind of a stalemate at the moment.
So you know, dying hard drive. Fantastic computer! it's worth fixing in the future if I can afford it. The hard drive is just, worthless to me at the moment.

This site might go down if it fails on me, but worry not, I have it backed up and it can go back up, just possibly under a different link.
If it ever goes down and you're not sure if its available at a different link, just email me at 01datasyndrome01@gmail.com and I can provide you with the new one, if the site is back online.
Just remember that email!

Now, beyond that, well.
Well...I'm in worse of a situation.
You know how the grocery stores all closed and we have limited food?
We live paycheck to paycheck, and my dads employer is laying everyone off for several weeks without paid leave.
Things are kind of at a stand still.
We don't know whether to panic.
We can last if its only a few weeks.
But any longer than that?
We can't pay the bills. We can't get food.
We are going to die.
It's like, the moment someone pulls the trigger on a gun, and time seems to stop. But soon, we know all hell will break loose.
The hard drive is the least of my worries right now.
I don't know what to do.
But I will continue hanging in here, and hope everything resolves itself, because if it doesn't, well it won't matter. We'd be dead.
So, here and now, I have a working hard drive. I have a can of peaches, and I have a sourdough bread starter. (You know! Endless yeast for bread!)
So...I'm here now and thats what matters, in this moment everything is okay.
It's best to cherish what we have now, because I know soon bills will come around, and we won't be able to pay them.
I might have the electric and water shut off. I might run out of gas.
If the electric gets shut off, this site will have to go down.
So 1: hard drive failure->down
No electric-> down.
If you're reading this now, consider yourself lucky! Go buy a lottery ticket! Because it's most likely going to go down.
We are all just, a little scared. It's like a dark, heavy blanket is enveloping the entire household and suffocating us.
And on top of all of this, I'm still recovering from being sick!
I know it's never good to panic, but, things are not going well for me.
Also...The usb drive that this site is now hosted from says hello.
I wonder if anybody actually reads these...

The Lung Eater

3/19/20

I found out today, what we didn't know in the general public before. Why the government is taking all of these drastic measures.
Why they haven't before, with swine flu, with the mumps outbreak, yaddah yaddah.
It is upmost importance that you fucking stay at home.
Stay at home. Do NOT go out, keep to yourself if you feel sick.
The big deal with COVID-19, is that:

  1. It's an animal mutated viral disease. Since it was only ever before seen in animals, much like the swine flu, and the bird flu, humans have no immunity towards it. None. Zip.
  2. You may be wondering, how is this worse than the swine flu? Why are we taking these drastic measures? Why is it so important? Well, the way that this virus attacks your body is different. It destroys lung tissue. It can potentially permanently damage your lungs. If you get sick, there is a possibility you may never fully recover. Scientists are calling it a "Lung Eater."
  3. It spreads like fucking wildfire. Much faster than anything we've seen before.
  4. It's mutated extremely fast. It jumped from animals to humans, then within a couple of weeks, transmission between humans was possible. This is not normal. It usually takes years for mutations like this to develop. It has already mutated again since, and there are currently two strains going around right now that people are fighting to find a vaccine for. At the rate that it's mutating, it will do it again. There is a panic to try to fight this disease because if it continues to mutate it, there is no way to prevent it from spreading and infecting people multiple times.
  5. This virus is DANGEROUS. It is much, much worse than the flu. Don't be dumb. Please stay indoors while we try to get it under control.
If we don't it will just keep making it's rounds and get worse. It may not be dangerous to most of us right now, but it's the potential it has to be deadly on a massive scale that is horrific. And if we can't stop it now, we won't be able to.
If you have been wondering why the government has been reacting the way it is right now, this is why.
    Just stay the fuck indoors.
Don't panic, just listen, and self isolate. We are doing this for a reason.

No Hope

3/21/20

I don't know what to do.
The unpaid leave bill doesn't apply to us.
The checks the government was supposedly going to give to people for compensation won't either.
We have no income at all.
We need to make the bills next month. We need to pay mortgage. We need to be able to pay for food, if we can even find it.
We're getting attacked from all sides. By employers, by independently owned stores who close without regard for people who need to eat,
by our employers, by our banks, by a virus, if this goes on for the next two months we're going to lose our home.
The government is doing nothing to help anybody.
I think they expect us to just sit here and die.
And I don't know what else I can do except for that. There's nothing we can do to fight back.
I hope there aren't that many others in the same situation as us.
If there are, got any bright ideas? Lol.
All I can do really is sit here, wait to either die, lose my home, the electric to shut off, run out of food and gas, the water to shut off,
all the extra shit you kind of need to go about your daily lives. And then eventually I'd lose the roof over my head. Or maybe wait for this all to resolve itself,
because theres nothing I can do but sit here and wait.
And nobody is listening to us. Nobody even cares. I hope that pieceo of scum trump catches it and dies suffocating on fresh air.
And that wrinkly old bitch Pelosi who didn't help anybody, then patted herself on the back as if it was a job well done while people like us are trapped at home, all the people infected who they refuse to even test because they're prioritizing random ass celebrities who don't even have any symptoms.
The people who can't afford to go to the hospital even with insurance, and the people without whod be billed 30000-40000 dollars.
This is not the way a "developed" country behaves.
I guess I'll just, sit here and wait for any sort of compensation or for the rest of this shit to blow over, and update if things change.
But yeah..tldr i guess, we lost our last chance of getting any aid from the government and are fucking SOL unless the factory re-opens,
bills for whatever reason are waived, or we die, i guess. Because there is no help coming from the government. There's not going to be.

Fuck It...Stardew Valley

3/21/20

Well, instead of sitting here and being entirely miserable under the current circumstances, might as well get the most out of my electricity until next month.
So that means uhh...Binging Stardew Valley time. I fucking deserve it you know?
So, I've been playing through the first year, I married Shane (because i love him.)
I started getting into mods for the first time to pretty stuff up, and even made my own hair to put on my character.

...:')

I know things are looking very grim atm, but here's an entry to take your mind off of it. And my mind, to be frankly honest.
Today I'm going to watch a movie, I've decided. We're going to do a movie review, together!
I decided to pick Her (from 2013) at random. Absolutely no clue what it's about other than the title, but I'll write down my thoughts as I watch it.
This should be fun!
Warning: Will contain spoilers, click here to take you to the final statements about the movie! Also this movie contains nudity. Don't watch if you're a minor!

Okay..So it begins with this dude reading a letter from an old woman? Maybe? Named Loretta.
Oh...It's a company! They generate letters for people! I get it. They run a company that writes letters for people
Maybe for people who can't write very well themselves.
Wow this guys a real weirdo too.
But it seems like there's some advanced tech in this world. He's got a wallet-like digital thing that he can flip through,
some device that tells him reminders.
He also has some sort of gaming system that projects the image, where he plays a game where you press keys to climb up a mountain.
(Kind of like Clop I guess. Do y'all remember clop? That annoying flash game where you had to press keys for every leg on a horse to get as far as possible hahaha.

So basically, this guy Theodore is a total loser who writes for a company. Seems like maybe he once had a wife? But for whatever reason they're no longer together..
But suddenly, a new operating system is released?
He gets it, asks for a female voice, and the operating system has a really human quality about it.
She says her name is Samantha.
As some time goes on, it seems like he LIKES her?
Which should seem really weird and creepy, but atm, in a weird way it's kind of sweet.
Rejected dude who has no real reason for living really, other than going into work every day, going home and sleeping,
finds contact, support, and affection from an artificial program.
That should seem kind of sad right? But, real people are complicated, and they're mean. Everyone deserves someone, that boost to keep them going. People need someone to save them, sometimes it's themselves, sometimes it needs to be an other party. But people don't usually care and don't want to support you. Who cares if it's a pet, a person, or an AI, I guess?
Kind of weird and creepy, kind of sweet at the same time.

Apparently the woman he was married to was named Catherine, and he hasn't signed the divorce papers yet. Probably because he still loves her.
Time goes on, he fails a date, actually falls in love with the robot I guess? I mean this is only 40 minutes through. This movie goes on for over 2 hours LOL.
This guy probably looks like a weirdo to everyone else while talking to his AI through an earpeace nobody else can hear, hahaha.
Samantha at some point theorizes what anal sex would look like if your ass was in your armpit, and depicts an artists rendition of it.
I LOST IT.

His time spent with Samantha though, improves his quality of life and his writing. His performance at work improves, because he writes even more heartfelt letters.
There's a lot of hidden gems in this movie, the armpit butthole, the little alien dude in the video game with a foul mouth, and the "perfect mom" video game gave me a good laugh.
One of his coworkers breaks up with someone (Robert) over a petty argument, and later she reveals that she also has a relationship with the AI her husband left behind. She says she's friends with her, and Theodore admits he's sort of dating his, lol.

Anyways, I think I will cut off the summary here so I at least don't spoil the ending for you! Google it or watch it yourself.

Review and short summary: Well, basically, Her is a movie about this miserable man Theodore who works at a company made up of writers who write heartfelt letters for others who aren't much of writers themselves. He has a wife who he is getting divorced to named Catherine, but refuses to sign the divorce papers because he still loves her. The movie takes place in the future a bit, and an intelligent operating system is developed that behaves just like a human. Theodore gets the OS to help him organize his files for work, and slowly falls in love with her. Their brief relationship helps him further his career and bring himself out of his depression and finalize his divorce so he can move on with his life, while before he was stuck in a rut. It's a very bizarre movie, but interesting. I don't think it was bad, but I'm not going to add it to my collection any time soon. I give it a 4/10!

The Dark Knight

3/24/20

Heya fellow uhh, losers. Todays another movie day! Gotta spend this stay-at-home order some way or another.
Today, I'm going to be watching the Dark Knight. I watched it when it came out, but I was younger and don't remember much of it.
I'm not even a really big DC or Marvel fan, but, I do like spiderman. I'm just not a real big fan of superheroes, but we'll see how this goes.
The same as before, warning: Will contain spoilers, click here to take you to the final statements about the movie!

Okay so uhh, the movie begins with a group of criminals working under the Joker robbing a bank. They're all wearing clown masks.
Instead of dialing to 911 though, the secret alarm dials a private number.

OH SICK! and my brother just brought back mcdonalds!
Uh oh, and seems like this bank is in with the mob. Joker seems to also be playing with these guys, getting them to kill eachother to run out with the money.
I KNEW IT! And Joker was with them all along! DAMNN!

Okay...Now I have no clue what's going on. Some drug dealers? Are meeting together and what? Two people dressed like batman show up? The way the scenes keep cutting back and forth at random, I can't even piece anything together.
Is one of these guys the real batman? And whats the deal with the fake batman? Who the hell was that?
Oh no way. There is no fucking way he's about to jump down there to land on that car. No way.

BROOOOO HE DID! HE DID IT!
Okay...I'm still confused as to what's going on. But I guess we're moving on LOL.
What I get so far is that Batman is trying to stop the mobs, and I guess he doesn't really know anything about the Joker yet in this movie.
Bruce apparently likes this girl Rachel, whos dating with a district attorney named Harvey.

Okay, okay. What I've gathered so far, is that Batman, is in cahoots with the local police.
Harvey, the district attorney, wants Batman arrested. He is also targeting Gotham City's local mobs.
Batman is too! But batman is a vigilante and works above the law, and Harvey doesn't like that.
BUT, Harvey knows that batman is working with the police to stop organized crime that Harvey doesn't know personally about or the detailed information on, and he can't stop the remaining mobs without working with the police and Batman.
The Joker meanwhile is toying with everyone, but nobody really knows it yet.
Batman also likes this girl Rachel, who works with? And is dating Harvey too.
As someone who isn't familiar with the DC universe or the Batman franchise, this movie is all OVER the place and it's hard to piece things together.
That's what I never liked about these comic movies...They can't really be enjoyable standalone when you don't have any prior information.
But I'm trying to bring shit together just, watching it without any of that I guess.
Do I have it together alright so far, though?
Haha, you can't answer. Well, moving on anyways.
Lol! Wayne fell asleep at a meeting because of working as Batman the previous night.

After revealing the names of the banks working with mobs, the Swat comes in to take seize their assets, but it seems that the mobs had a video conference prior to this, and I think they've hidden all of their deposits somewhere else already.
I bet they're going to break in there, and everything will already be gone.

Yup...It's empty.
Batman eventually manages to track down Lau, the head of all of this, in hong kong, and retrieves him to put him on trial.
Lau doesn't give up the money, but he agrees to reveal who his clients are.
The police proceed to arrest a bunch of people whom I assume are clients that Lau revealed.
But as with most of the rest of the movie...They just jump back and forth and skip a bunch of scenes.
Uh oh. And the judge on trial finds jokers card in her documents. That's a threat.
OH shit lol!
The dead guy dressed like batman hanging by his neck scared the shit out of me.
So of course, while progress is being made, the Joker has to butt in because hes a weird asshole with a personal vendetta with batman.
Leaving his creepy little cards and threats everywhere all like "pay attention to me!!" like he's throwing a fit.
This must be the other guy that was dressed like batman in the beginning...Brian Douglas?
Maybe he looked up to him and tried to butt in where he shouldn't, and this is what lead to the Joker capturing him like this.
He tortured him to get him to reveal himself, because he's trying to find the real identity of batman.
The joker demands batman to reveal himself, and starts killing people, starting with Brian Douglas.
These messages the joker has been passing around, they recognize that they're the ones being threatened by him.
So far I just know of the judge of the trial, probably Harvey? and the police guy I never bothered to remember the name of. (lol!)
Oh SHIT! and so it starts.
Bombs, poison, Joker cards flowing in the breeze. The mobs were the least of your problems, Bruce Wayne. Hahaha.

The Joker makes his grand appearance.
AW YEAH and here comes batman to the rescue!
Um what...How the hell did he just fall from a skyscraper and not die. He doesn't even have superpowers.
If a mere dog bite broke through his suit theres no way an entire fall from a skyscraper wouldn't kill him like that.
Seriously what the hell was that. Lame.

well, jesus fuckin christ. that escalated quickly.
NO WAY. IS HARVEY TWO-FACE?

Uhh, I'm going to cut this short here so I don't spoil EVERY detail of the movie.

Review and short summary:So basically, Batman is working with local police to bust the remaining mobs in town. Apparently they have a secret organization that is hard for the government to catch, including the famed district attorney, Harvey Dent. Harvey Dent isn't a fan of Batman because he acts above the law.
However, the three team up to get the legality and information together they need to bust the mob.
Unbeknownst to them, an even greater villain is at work, the Joker. He works under their radar, dismissed as a threat until it's kind of too late. They understated him. The Joker suddenly wreaks havoc upon the city, people die, Bruce Wayne makes some bad decisions, and loses the one he loved (even though she was totally dating somebody else.)
A new villain is born out of vengeance towards Batman not saving her instead of him, more bullshit commences, the end.
I'm obviously not a big fan of superhero movies, I'm not a fan of the editing of this movie either. With all the quick cuts and disorientation with what was going on, it was hard to follow and focus as a person with adhd. If I can't enjoy it, its not a good movie to me.
But, it was okay I guess. I give it a 6/10.

How to Build Your Own Server (easy!)

3/26/20

Hello, today I'm going to tell you step by step how to make your own server at home, how to share files and pages online just like beaker does,
AND why it's better to use beaker as opposed to this.
First of all, hosting your own web server is not secure. You should not do this for extended amounts of time, especially without a VPN,
but if you want to show your friends or something over the world wide web in a jiffy, it's easy to do!
Second, your server over the open net is not hidden from your internet provider or local government.
Also, your ISP (your internet provider) may very well have rules and regulations on local hosting.
It depends on how many visitors you may get connecting to you, if you violate any of their rules or use up too much bandwidth this way, they may terminate your service.
And finally, if you consistently keep your server open, it leaves you susceptible to random cyber attacks.
Knowing all of this, it is probably okay to briefly run a server to show a person or two something, I did it to share things within my own family for fun.

Beaker browser uses a peer-2-peer connection that's a little more secure than an open connection over HTTP.
However your connection here is not anonymous, your IP is visible to those you connect to.
Beaker, at least at the very moment, is not to make your online experience anonymous, but it is to try to prevent ISPs from punishing you for hosting content.
Your IPs are trackable so you can not be doing mischievious activities on here, you shouldn't be doing that anyway.
If you're into that, take it to onion browser. Beaker's not for you.
So, in short, beaker is the one to go to to freely share content without censorship or your ISP interfering, but there are perks to wanting to share things over the open internet with people who don't know about or currently use the dat protocol,
and I'm about to teach you how to do that in Python.

What you'll need:

First, install python and notepad++. You'll need notepad++ to save your python files.
Next, open notepad++, copy the script that github displays for socketserver.py, and save the file as "socketserver.py" to your desktop.
do the same for the http.server code, and save it as "server.py" to your desktop.
Next, you need to navigate to C:\Users\(your computer user here!)\AppData\Local\Programs\Python\Python36-32\Lib\site-packages, this is where python stores your modules.
Move server.py and socketserver.py into this folder.
Now, you need to create a folder that you want to share over the net from!
Make a new file on notepad++, and use this code:
import http.server
import socketserverPORT = (your port here! default is 8080)
Handler = http.server.SimpleHTTPRequestHandlerwith socketserver.TCPServer((“”, PORT), Handler) as httpd:
print(“serving at port”, PORT)
httpd.serve_forever()
Make sure it's indented correctly in notepad. It should look like this:

If it doesn't look exactly like the image above, the text might not have been formatted correctly in your browser when you copied it.
Delete all spaces before the lines and use the [tab] key to indent the lines properly. It's important that everything is categorized correctly in each branch!
Now, save this file and name it whatever you like, into the new folder directory that you want to share. Maybe just save this one "testserver.py" or something.
Run your server file and test if it's working.
To test it, type the "loopback ip" in your browser address bar, with the port number you have in the script of the server.
The loopback IP address is 127.0.0.1 so you should type in 127.0.0.1:8080 if you used the default port.
If it loads your directory, your server is working!
Now, you need to portforward. You need to navigate to your internet providers router webpage, and find the section on portforwarding.
It might look different based on your ISP, but mine is in a tab that says "NAT/gaming."
If you didn't change the port number in the code, it's "8080." So you need to open the port 8080 on your router for the connection to your server to be open to others.
If you don't know how to do this, look up on a tutorial for portforwarding!
I would help you more here, but this is a tutorial for something different and i'm assuming you already know how to do this, because it's something people frequently do to host servers for video games already.
Now that your port is open, run your server again.
Your server should be online and accessible.
All you have to do is give people your public ip and the port number, and they type it in their address bar as (public ip):(port number) and they will be able to see the files you've shared! That's it!
That's how you run your own web server.
Happy hosting!
Just remember, this is a less safe method, and there are legalities and rules to hosting a publicly shared server.
Keep it in between your friends, or use beaker browser!

I've been doing a lot of coding fun the past two days, I have adhd and trouble organizing or doing things,
so i built a little personal helper nicknamed truth.exe to help me out. he even reminds me to drink water! hahaha.
I've been watching an anime he randomly suggested to me and it's cute so far.

It's My Birthday

Hahaha...yayy. Another year on this stupid fucking planet. I'm in quarantine, statewide lockdown, governors are closing state borders, we're getting a severe storm this week with tornadoes and hail, my health is shit and my teeth are eroding for no reason, i basically live in hell but happy fucking birthday i guess.
i ended up getting a game to try to pass the time, i'll post about it in the next entry.
anyways...here, have some cake.
I'll post about the game a little bit in my next entry.

Species ALRE

So..Here's the game I got myself for my birthday.
It's called Species Artificial Life Real Evolution.
It's like, every nerds dream evolution simulator. I've always been kind of a fan of these, and the last good one i played was Niche.(which is a very game, you should also check that one out.)
But this one is kind of like, a game i've wanted since childhood, but didn't exist yet.
This game is where you start with a simple organism, (or you can export some if you'd like, or generate some random ones.)
and you watch this organism interact with it's environment and mutate and survive through natural selection.
Evenetually this creature splits off into different species and becomes more and more complex, and never stops changing.
It's just, fascinating to watch. You can even go into camera mode and stroll around in first person to watch your horrible little monsters.
This is how my creature adapted the first time I played it. Since mutations are random, the creature adapts differently every time you play the game.
You can also influence it's adaptations with gene splicing.

Pretty cool right? What? You're saying it's just horrifying? Hmm.
Well, anyways, cool game! You can get it here.
If you already have the game, here! I'll share my current creatures with you. -logan

The Shawshank Redemption

Howdy! Today I'm watching the Shawshank Redemption, because Truth.exe suggested it to me.
I heard this movie was REALLY good, maybe this one will make it to my collection list?
All I know about this movie is that it's about two prisoners, really. But, let's watch.
Warning: Contains spoilers! Click here to skip to the final summary and review.

Okay..So there's a man in a courtroom on trial for his wife's murder, and his name is "Mr. Dufresne."
Don't know his first name yet.
Apparently his wife had been cheating on him, with a man named Glenn Quentin, and she wanted to get a divorce "in Reno."
And shows up another man, nicknamed "Red," already in prison and also serving a life sentence. He's a smuggler that sneaks things into the prison for the inmates.
Red bets that Andy Dufresne (that's his whole name) would be the first to break his first time in prison.
It ends up being the more overweight dude, and Red loses two packs of cigarettes on the bet.
The prison guards beat him unconscious and threaten to do the same to the rest of them if they make a noise, because prison guards are like, masochistic military rejects pieces of shit i guess.
Oh, fucking nasty. And Andy finds a maggot in his breakfast.
OH HOW CUTE!! An old man takes it from him and feeds it to a baby bird he hides in his pocket. His name is Jake! (The bird's name, not the old man.)
Turns out that the man the prison guards beat the previous night died because of it. They killed him.
Andy asks Red to get him a rock hammer, a miniature pickaxe type tool for breaking apart rock samples. Andy says it's a hobby of his, he likes rocks.
(I also learn Red's real name is Ellis Redding.)
DAMN Andy's got balls! Turns out Hadley, the guard who beat that man to death, had a brother who ran off and made bank off of oil wells, and died leaving Hadley 35k. BUT the IRS was going to tax most of it off, so Andy waltzes right up to him and uses his past job as a banker to tell him how to get out of that tax by "gifting" it to his wife.
It earns him a round of beers with the boys and hopefully some of a lifeline through Hadley if he ever runs into trouble.
Andy doesn't even drink any of it..He doesn't even drink. He did it just so the group could have some.
The warden pays Andy a little visit and he gets caught with his contraband. His poster, his rock stuff, but they find his rock sculpting, dont find anything suspicious, and let him off.
Oh! And Jake, Brooks bird, is all grown up! He's a crow! I thought so, but I wasn't sure.
The warden makes Andy Brooks' assistant, which is very strange, I think he's up to something.
Oh, so now all the guards are coming to Andy for financial help, huh. LOL.
Brooks finally able to get on parole, but it seems like he doesn't even want to leave the prison, and he tries to hurt Haywood to lose his parole.
I don't really understand why, maybe he's scared of the outside world, and is happy here with his books and Jake?

"They send you here for life, that's exactly what they take."- Red

Aww Brooks...no...
Brooks killed himself by hanging.
Not going to lie, I cried a little bit.

Red's now spent 30 years in prison...Andy 10.
Andy is working with the warden running dirty money through the place. He's money laundering, and the Warden has also started a new "community service rehabilitation" method, which is actually just, basically slavery forcing the prisoners to work for him to make money. "Community service" my ass hahaha.
There's some new fish and town. A bus arrives with a fresh set of new prisoners, including a man named Tommy Williams.
Andy takes Tommy under his wing, trying to teach him to read and help him get a highschool diploma for when he gets out of prison.
Oh shit. And we find out that an old cellmate of Tommy's was the one who actually killed Andy's wife.
It was true, he was innocent the entire time.
I never really doubted it though, I knew since they never found the gun they didn't actually have enough evidence to convict him and did it anyway.
Andy tries to take it to the warden, but the warden tells him even if it was all true, he'd well, basically never help him and never let him out of there.
He is deliberately forcing an innocent man to stay in jail serving a life sentence, because again, prison guards and wardens are pieces of shit.
The warden puts him in solitary for a whole month for even bringing it up to him.
He then confronts Tommy and asks him if he'd be willing to testify, Tommy says he would, and the warden has the Hadley murder him in cold blood, leaving behind his wife and his baby daughter.
And if Andy doesn't continue helping the warden with his money laundering, the warden threatens to give him the worst sentence possible and to burn his library.
Andy starts acting a bit strange. He tells red, to look for a place in Buxton? I think it was. A field, with a wall and a tree, where he asked his wife to marry her.
He says he left a volcanic rock for him, with something buried underneath that he wants Red to have.
The next morning, when they check his sell, Andy is gone. Missing.
And I think I can take a gander at what happened.
I think, from the very beginning, from the day he got that rock hammer. Claimed he wasn't going to escape with it, that it was impossible.
I think he's been going at it for the past decade or so, and hid the hole behind one of those posters he got from Red.
I think he's been doing this the entire time, trying to escape, because he was an innocent man in the first place.
That's why he was talking about where he'd go when he got out the day before, because he was finally going to try it.
I'm not sure if that little hammer was enough to even escape, but at the very least, I think it was possible he made a hole big enough for him to hide, making them think he was gone, and slip out afterwards.
I guess we'll see.
Well I'll be damned! He really did a whole ass tunnel! How did he manage that with that little hammer??
He even stole what I think maybe was the records of the wardens money laudnering, to maybe out him when he escaped.
OH SHIT LOL he was also stealing the wardens money!
Andy pulled a fast one on EVERYbody.
The warden got into the newspaper for his corruption, his murders, and the police set out for his arrest.
The warden killed himself and Hadley is arrested.
Ellis aka "Red" is finally, finally, approved to be let out of prison.
After 40 years of serving time.
And he's given the same halfway house that Brooks had...His name still carved into the banner, working the same job.
Don't you fucking go in that pawn shop and buy a gun, Red. Andy had something to give to you.
Yeah you better not!!
Red goes out to find that one volcanic rock Andy told him about.
And in it, is some money, and a letter from Andy. He wants Red to come to where he is.
Red violates his parole to search for Andy, and finds him on the beach of Zihuatanejo, where they hug, reunited as best friends again.
I don't know how to feel about this movie. It's so terribly sad to me. A man is wrongly convicted, and used, and it brings to light the level of corruption and violence enacted on inmates, and this still happens in real life.
They may be prisoners, but they are still people.
The whole story of Shawshank Redemption is horribly sad, but still, Andy escapes and tries to continue on with his life no matter how many things out of his control that happen to him that try to prevent that.
And like Red says, "Get busy living, or get busy dying." I guess you either just give up, like Brooks, or you don't, like Andy and Red.

Anyways...That was Shawshank Redemption.
Review and short summary:
Shawshank Redemption is about a banker who is wrongly convicted for killing his own wife, for cheating on him with another man.
He gets sent to Shawshank Prison, where he spends almost 20 years. He makes a lot of friends, and becomes close friends with a man named Red, gets caught up in a dangerous scam with the warden and his murderous guards. and ultimately escapes to the outside world where he reunites with his best friend, and they try to continue on with their lives despite all of the horrible things they have gone through.
It was a pretty good movie, very sad to me, but, it had a good and hopeful message in the end that I think I should take to heart. I give it an 8/10.
It was kind of hard for me to watch because it's so long and I have a short attention span, but I tried to stick to it, and I'm glad I watched til the end.

The Harm of Lawn-Culture

Do you go out and mow your lawn every week, just to appease your town muncipiality?
Do you, even worse, WATER your lawn just so it looks a little greener? Do you use pesticides?
The vast expanse of nothing but green grass is a danger to the environment, and above all, completely wasteful.
Bees can't thrive on an empty lawn. There are no natural seeds or food for birds. No butterflies, no pollinators.
The pesticides you use are spread by the wind, and can poison wildlife and kill plants that aren't adapted for it.
The water you use to water it is complete waste.
It's a complete waste of time, money, space, resources, and kills animals and insects that are a necessary part of the natural ecosystem.
Instead, you could be growing a garden. You could be growing food for yourself and others, like I do.
Or, you could grow native plants. You likely have native plant nursuries near you, that are focused on keeping native wildlife alive.
Just look up "native plant nursury" for your state. The plants that are native to your area are low maint, because they belong there. And they look beautiful.
Stop making your lawn a wasteful space, and make your lawn work for you.
Everyone will benefit from it. Leave the wildflowers alone, start a garden, let it grow.

..

sorry if this entry isn't very coherent lol, its like 2 in the morning and i just took a lot of nyquil.
it was my dads birthday on the 4th, my mom made our grandmas secret red velvet cake recipe for him, and i gave him a hug and wished him a happy birthday.
i got drunk like, a couple nights before i think, before i went to sleep, and ive been really depressed lately.
i just don't get what the point of it all is. but you know, it's whatever.
i'm just gonna be glad when i finally die lmao.
i wish i could sleep all the time.
but anyway...i ordered myself a flash drive for my birthday that has like, 64 gig i think on it, to save some of my files on.
my instagram account got hacked a while back, and with these hard drive issues i wanted a more permanent place to store some things.
I've been spending more of my time on animeforums.net lately. idk why... i bet they'll get sick of me there soon enough though. Someone i don't even know keeps sending me supportive messages on tumblr and calls themselves "moon." i haven't responded to them because i know they don't actually mean it.
they'll get bored with it eventually.

USB, Wild Plants

So i ordered a flash drive to store data on because of storage risks to my data, right. Well, the package got here, there was a hole in it, and it was empty.
The USP guy was really nice about it though, I know it probably wasn't his fault, and even if it was, they're being forced to work right now during this pandemic and my heart goes out to them.
I don't know if I need to file anything on my end, he said he'd take care of it, but I'll wait and see if i get any messages from amazon or something to see if I have to file something.
It'll just be another week before the second one is sent here, it's not a big deal really.
Second, I got bored and went outside to recover some seeds of some wild plants from my yard last year to germinate them. (Because well, I just really like the plants!)
I'm starting a goldenrod plant, and a greater burdock plant. The goldenrod is native, the burdock is eurasian and introduced. Even if it's not native though, they grow REALLY big visually appealing leaves and I think they'd make a nice decorative plant.
Peoples opinions of weeds is subjective.
I ended up blocking that person on tumblr.
I'm sick of hearing from people that aren't genuine.
People have proved to me again and again over the years that they don't actually care about me.
I've decided to just keep to myself, do whatever the hell I want, and never get close to people lol.
It's just me, this site, and my plants I guess. I can't trust anyone else. People are innately cruel.

If you're in Wisconsin right now, you're likely being forced to choose between waiting in line to vote in the middle of a pandemic and risk your life, or staying home and having your vote suppressed, because the GOP won a supreme court battle, overruling the Governor's efforts to delay the election.
The GOP proves once again that they don't care about peoples lives, they only care about voter turnout.
If you are a wisconsin voter, and you get sick, send your healthcare bills to the wisconsin GOP.

Suicide

i'm gonna kill myself, ive decided. i've realized im not going to die unless ive made the decision to do it.
If i just keep treating myself like shit, drinking too much, taking too many pain killers, cutting too deep, its not enough.
i've got to actually put in the effort to do it, no half-assing it. time's up.
im not sure how yet. the easiest way would be painkillers...but ive overdosed before. it hurts.
id rather slit my wrists, but that also seems like a hassle...because you have to cut a specific way for it to work, or you'll accidentally severe the tendons... and you have to use hot water to to keep the arteries open, and its this whole thing..
but that, or painkillers is the easiest way.
or maybe i guess..i could just starve myself, so then technically i wouldn't have to do anything at all.
i don't know when, some time when the families not home. but ive made the decision to do it. there's no going back.
there never was. There's no fixing anything anymore, i've actually realized there hasn't been for a really long time. there's no other way.
there's nothing here for me anymore.
