Vermicomposters

Oh boy, check out who i found in my compost bin!

Do you know what these little guys are? They're red wrigglers!
It's a type of red worm that thrives off of eating decaying matter, and helps it break down faster.
They're a very efficient way of breaking down rotting foods and stuff into a rich compost to use on your garden. (Fish also love them.)
I just won the worm lottery. People pay money for a healthy population of these things, because of how much their uh, feces can help your plants.
You can probably also find them under rotting leaf litter and wood, even during winter, trying to hide out under there from the cold.
If you're interested in starting a bin yourself, you should look up vermicomposting.

Also, today, I finished an art trade for killermakachop on deviantart.
Here it is!

Art Kiriban Prize!

Here's an art kiriban prize for dark-arctic-fox! (WARNING: links back to the clearnet!)

I also transplanted the seed starters I had going the past month in the garden outside today.
It's still a little cold though, so I hope they make it. The cold of winter is leaning precariously into summer this year, its already the first week of april and it's just now warming up. I hope this doesn't effect the productivity of the garden this year.
