Do NOT get the game Graveyard Keeper

I decided to use my remaining 8 dollars to get something that I had on my own wishlist for myself, because I don't usually get the opportunity to buy games.
I usually refrain from buying myself things because I'm always afraid of wasting money, and I see more come out of it when I buy or share things with others instead.
but it's been so long since I've actually gotten myself a new game, or anything at all to entertain myself with hobby wise, I feel like I'm going mad.
Fortunately the Disgaea pack I got for me and my friend works wonderfully, but I can't say the same for Graveyard Keeper.
I heard great things about Graveyard Keeper when it first came out, as if it were "Stardew Valley but edgier!"
So, oh, how fun! Right?
Well, it would be! If the game actually worked.
The game crashes on startup. Once it hits the loading screen, boom! gone. I tried starting it up five times.
So I was like, hmm, maybe since its a new game, I just need to verify the games files. So I do that. No go.
So I was like, maybe its a one time thing? So I reinstall it. No go.
I reinstall it again. And again. And again. And again. No go.
So I go to look at the logs to see what's going on, and turns out when the game is loading, it's trying to pull dll files that don't exist from a directory that doesn't exist.
The game itself isn't complete.
No matter how many times you install it, it doesn't give you the whole game's files, making it impossible to launch.
I have no idea why. I looked to the internet, to find dozens and dozens of people with the same issue. And many many MANY more, echoing that the game is broken in countless other ways, if they can actually get it to run.
So I turned to asking developers and support, and only got the half-assed typical "Did you try turning it on and off again? Did you try reinstalling it? Did you try turning anti-virus off?"
Yes, yes, and yes. I even sent screenshots to prove it, because those assholes never actually believe you. I took pictures of it installing with the antivirus prompt that it was off.
I sent the log. I sent pictures of the crash screen. I sent screenshots of verifying the files.
Finally, I just got a shrug and a "sorry" and had to request a refund.
Don't buy Graveyard Keeper, it's a broken game.
